Guild Of The Damned
The YA dystopian fantasy series that follows three teenagers' initiation into the infamous assassins guild.
Guild Of The Damned is the prequel series to The Small Gods. I highly recommend reading the information found on The Small Gods page to get a better sense of where this project has come from and the history behind it.
The Story
Five years before The Small Gods takes place, three eighteen year olds are about to attend the 21st Era's Coming of Age Ceremony. In the city of Night-Wing, when a citizen reaches eighteen they must choose a Primary and Secondary occupation at the Ceremony. They then train in their occupation for five years before graduating as an official citizen of Night-Wing. But there are rumours, whispers in dark corners that suggest the infamous assassins guild is not just a myth.
When Asta, Bentir and Quol get Chosen for initiation into The Small Gods, it doesn't take long for them to realise they're facing far more than they bargained for. After being assigned to their separate Orders, they must balance training under their charismatic and odd professors, dealing with complicated teenage relationships and unravelling the mystery of students who are mysteriously disappearing.
Fingers are pointed at Tutors, fellow students and even our three newcomers. But there is something much larger at play, something that watches over the mortal world. Can our three heroes fight this evil, or will they be consumed by it?
The Project
We are also working to pitch Guild Of The Damned as a potential television show, and the first step on the road to pitching is a table-read! At the beginning of April we will be holding virtual table reads for the pilot script, which you can register your interest for here.

Please be aware that nothing is confirmed completely as of yet and at the early stages of a project things are likely to change. We of course want this to succeed but there are no guarantees.

The Process
We will be holding virtual table reads in early April to establish if Guild Of The Damned works as a television script. The purpose of the reads is for our writer/creator to get a feel for the script, work out any tweaks and prepare for potential pitching.
We then hope to hold one (maybe even two!) in-person table reads in late April which will be filmed. These table reads will consist of a fully edited script and may be used as pitching material.
Once you have submitted, you will be contacted about the status of your application within two weeks (if we receive an overwhelming amount of applications this date is subject to change). If successful you will receive your character breakdown, the pilot script and an NDA to sign. The reason we are using NDA's even at this early stage is because we want to protect our material and this could very well be pitched later this year.
Application Deadline
The applications for our table read open at 11am on Monday the 20th February and will close at 10pm on Monday the 27th February. Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered, if you do miss out don't fear, we will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in these projects later down the line!
